The town of Parker City bought the Parker Fire Company its first fire engine. Double 42 gallon chemical engine and a two wheel hook and ladder wagon.. Aluminum steel, seams riveted and brazed, galvanized inside and out, tested to 300 pounds to the square inch, and so connected that one tank may be recharged while the other is being used, and equipped as follows: Two 1 1/2 inch A Sarven wheels, 56 inches diameter, 2-inch tread, 1 1/2 best steel axle, one chemical box to carry two full charges, one metal hose basket to carry hose, 150 feet hose, one 11- inch trip gong, rings twice every revolution of  the wheels,10 fire buckets, one shut-off nozzle, two pressure gauges, one on each tank, one fireman's axe and holder, one crowbar and holder, two brass lanterns and holder, one charging funnel, one monkey wrench, 30 feet of pull rope, and 6 charges of chemicals.
